Saline Rec Center Swimming

MEMBERS ONLY PLEASE

One of the scariest things about our children with developmental disabilities (especially Down syndrome and autism) is their lack of fear of WATER. One way to combat this is swimming lessons and constant exposure to water. The more they are exposed to swimming, the more likely they will learn how to swim and float.

Join us for swimming at the Saline Recreation Center from 2:15 - 3:45 pm. This swimming outing is for children aged 0-12ish. (There are no age limits set in stone. If it is cognitively appropriate, you and your family are welcome to come. Siblings are welcome as well. Also, if you are a mom that needs a little “mom” time to talk and ask questions, please feel free to come without RSVPing.
